Learn together. Pay less each.

Learn with people you already know. Create a private group with friends, family, colleagues or classmates: everyone follows the same programme together, and each person pays less as the group grows.

Groups are always private, never public classes, and meet online at a time that suits everyone, with up to six people.

About The Spanish Desk

The Spanish Desk was built on nearly 12,000 hours of online Spanish teaching experience with students from around the world: professionals, exam candidates, and people preparing to move or travel abroad.

That experience shapes a practical, personalised approach. There are no one-size-fits-all lessons here: every course is built around your level, your goals and the result you need.

Questions

Who are the teachers?

Lessons are taught by the founder of The Spanish Desk, a native Spanish teacher with nearly 12,000 hours of online teaching. As we grow, every new teacher is selected and trained to the same standard.

What level do I need?

Any level. The initial assessment tells us where you are, and your plan starts from there, whether you are a beginner or preparing for C2.

Do you offer lessons for companies?

Yes. We design corporate programmes for individuals or teams, issue invoices to your company and can report progress to managers or HR if you wish.

What materials do you use?

All materials are included. Business lessons use your real documents, emails and presentations; exam lessons use past papers and official-style practice tasks.

How do private groups work?

You form the group yourself with colleagues, classmates, friends or family. Everyone follows the same programme, lessons are online at a time that suits the group, and each person pays the group price.

How soon can I start?

You can book your initial assessment at any time. Regular lessons usually begin shortly afterwards, once your plan is ready.

Which time zones do you teach in?

Lessons are scheduled in UK time, with early-morning and evening slots that also suit learners in continental Europe and North America.

Do parents receive progress updates?

Yes. For school students, parents receive regular updates on progress, strengths and next steps before the exam.

Do you help with visas or the relocation process?

We offer personalised relocation research to help you understand and organise the process of moving abroad.

Your Relocation Roadmap can bring together relevant official requirements, documents to prepare, key steps, useful resources and practical considerations for your destination.

We use current official sources and clearly reference them in your roadmap. The service provides research and practical relocation guidance; it does not include completing or submitting visa applications, representing you before immigration authorities, or regulated legal or immigration advice where this is required.

Can my lessons be tailored to the country I’m moving to or visiting?

Yes. Relocation and Travel lessons are adapted to your destination, whether Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia or elsewhere, with the vocabulary, everyday situations, expressions and regional differences you will meet there.

Do you teach Spain or Latin American Spanish?

Both. We adapt vocabulary and accent practice to your goals and the countries you work with.

What if I need to cancel a lesson?

You can reschedule for free with at least 12 hours’ notice.
